Windows 8 Consumer Preview Demo in Store
Not even 2 years sense the release of Windows 7, Microsoft is at it again with their latest operating system, Windows 8. Scheduled for release in October of this year the consumer preview edition is now available on Microsoft's web site and we've downloaded to take a look. At first glance the new operating system appears vastly different. Integrating your Windows Live ID into your operating system to offer Cloud Connect and a new interface called Metro that does away with the Start button that we have known for almost 20 years. This is going to be a large change, especially for those still running XP. Come on down and take a look, download the preview for yourself, and if you're interested in moving away from Microsoft, Ubuntu 12.04 will be released on April 26th.
